有一种声音可以穿透你的心灵，有一种文化可以代表一个民族的灵魂。葫芦丝，中国的民族乐器，水一样的清纯，风一样的缠绵，音色轻柔细腻，圆润质朴，葫芦丝丝丝情深，曲曲悠长！“如果把钢琴比喻成西方的一杯咖啡的话，葫芦丝就是东方的一杯顶级毛尖茶”！，称赞：“美国有萨克斯，中国有葫芦丝！”一九八六年英国女王伊丽莎白二世访问云南时也曾获赠这奇妙的“音乐精灵”。
2016年8月7日，受英国剑桥大学学联再次邀请宁夏葫芦丝巴乌陶笛学会会长张贺先生与副会长王娟女士以及海南省葫芦丝协会会长雷承锋先生，协同丝恋艺术团，再次赴英国剑桥大学举办葫芦丝专场音乐会！只有民族的才是世界的，英国剑桥葫芦丝音乐之旅我们来了！

2014年10月，受剑桥大学中国学联的邀请，宁夏葫芦丝巴乌陶笛学会会长张贺和副会长王娟女士在剑桥大学举办了葫芦丝专场音乐会和讲座，给观众留下了深刻的印象，许多外国朋友都被葫芦丝的天籁之音所迷恋，对葫芦丝艺术产生了浓厚的兴趣！
民族与世界的碰撞
2014年10月，宁夏葫芦丝巴乌陶笛学会会长张贺先生和副会长王娟女士赴英国教学交流演出期间，受到了学员和老师的一致好评，回国后收到了英国女王伊丽莎白的祝贺信！

曾赴中东国家传播葫芦丝艺术文化受到国际友人的高度赞赏！ Invited and attend Mid-East Hulusiprofessional Concert
The hulusiis a free reed windinstrument from China. It isheld vertically and has three bamboo pipeswhich pass through a gourd windchest; the center pipe has finger holes and the outer two are typically drone pipes. Hulusi is a traditional Chineseinstrument. The sound from Hulusi is as clean as water, as soft as wind. If thepiano is regarded as a cup of coffee in West, the hulusi is more like a cup ofgreen tea in East. The ex-USA president Bush listened the hulusi in JFK centerof performing Arts and said we have the saxphone in American, but you havehulusi in China. Moreover in 1985 the Queen Eliezbeth visited Yunan provinceand praised the hulusi as the “music elf”.
The Cambridge CSSA invited the Chinese Hulusi artistscome to Cambridge to hold a traditional Hulusi concert. The two-hour concertwill give you an amazing experience in traditional Chinese music. We will alsoshow the audience how the beautiful sound generated from hulusi
