中国人食物，据说四条腿的除了桌子，两条腿的除了人，就没有不吃的。食物范畴之广泛，令老外们叹为惊奇。从内脏到四肢，从虫子到卵子，从香的到臭的，总而言之，我们是站在食物链顶端的人类。
There is an saying that Chinese will try to eat whatever they want, except two-leg-human and four-leg-table. Generally speaking, Chinese people’s extensive food categories always amaze the foreigners. And Chinese people have great creativities to deal with food too.
If you start to learn how to cook authentic Chinese food, you must be surprised by Chinese food’s raw material, for example, insects, worm eggs, animal’s organ and limbs. Chinese chiefs will sever you with those special food. All in all, we are standing on the top of the food chain.
今天要说的一种食物，就是可能对好多人比较难以接受的，但是相信我，在成都，如果不吃这个，你绝对是歪成都人。
Feichang, what we are talking about is quite hard to swallow for most of people. But trust me, if you travel in Chengdu, you should never miss trying this food.
肥肠即猪大肠、猪肠。肥肠的烹饪相对较麻烦，如果处理不当，会有很重的臭味，但是若处理得当，绝对是难以言喻的美味。而成都人一定是吃肥肠的专家。曾经看过一篇文章，叫“成都人不是在吃肥肠，就是在去吃肥肠的路上”。个人觉得概括的十分精辟。
Feichang is Pork Intestine.
Cooking feichang is a challenge for chiefs all the time. If you don’t handle with raw ingredients in a right way, the dish will keep the stinky odor. On the contrary, Feichang will become an amazing dish which cannot be described easily by any words.
However, Chengdunese are experts of cooking and eating it. I have read an interesting article, in which the author said “Chengdunese is either eating Feichang or on the way to have Feichang.” Personally, I think that is such an excellent insight to find out how much Chengdu people love Feichang.
早餐 Breakfast
成都人的一天是从一碗肥肠粉/面开始的。成都人早上是很习惯来一碗面、粉或者抄手的。其中肥肠粉和肥肠面一定是其中点单率超高的一类。
Usually a local person in Chengdu starts a day with ordering a bowl of Feichang noodle or sweet-potato-noodle.
For breakfast, Chengdunese are used to having a bowl of noodle or Chaoshou ( wonton). And normally noodle (or sweet-potato-noodle) with Feichang is one of the most popular choices.
经典搭配一：肥肠粉+结子+锅盔
The most Classical combination: Feichang sweet-potato-noodle + Jiezi ( It is a pork intestine knot.) +Guokui (It is a kind of Chinese pancake with pork or beef inside, and is firstly fried and then baked in a stove.)
这个经典搭配大概就是类似去快餐店来个汉堡+薯条+可乐。但是这样一份下来，对胃口较小的女生来说还是有点多了的，不过美食不可辜负啊！在成都肥肠粉，最有名的一定是老网红店——“甘记肥肠粉”。不过朱嬢私心最好吃的一定是成都新津县西仓街的老店——“严豆粉”，又麻又辣，不说，直接上图（请关注并回复“新津肥肠粉”获取具体参餐馆位置）。
This Chengdu classical combination is as common as ordering a set meal including hamburgers, French fries and a cup of cola in a western fast food restaurant. Although it might be a little bit too much for a girl’s appetite, how can we resist such a delicious food any way.
"Gan’s Feichang Fen” has been a famous restaurant for a long time for its Feichang sweet-potato-noodle. But in my opinion, the best Feichang noodle must be another old restaurant in Xicang Street Xinjin county, called “Yan Dou Fen”. 肥肠面是朱嬢私人最爱，虽然我们有好吃的牛肉面、渣渣面、排骨面、干杂面······但是一碗肥肠面，再来点醋，真的一天上午都神清气爽。
Just a bowl of Feichang noodle with some vinegar will always make me happy for a really long day!
午餐 Lunch
中午来份土豆烧肥肠，来个小菜，一碗白米饭，简直完美。对于上班和上学的苦逼们，中午赶时间，来一个这样的搭配，补充一天满满的能量。

It is perfect to order a plate of “Feichang braised in soy sauce with potatoes”, some vegetables and then some rice as a lunch meal especially for those busy office workers and students. They can enjoy a both nutritionally adequate and good flavor meal in a short time.

晚餐 Dinner
晚上下班后，约上三五好友聚上一顿，小酌一杯也是美极了。而同样你的肥肠主题之夜选择也更加丰富了，像是干锅肥肠、卤肥肠、肥肠鸡火锅、肥肠汤锅等等，总之能让你挑花了眼。

Hanging out with some friends to have dinner together after work in the evening is wonderful. Also your choices of Feichang dishes will be more, such as Griddle Feichang, Lu Feichang, Feichang and Chicken hotpot, Feichang Soup-Pot and etc.
